Our Client is a global company and international leader among the world of road transport for light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles.

It has identified carbon-neutral transition as a strategic priority. For this purpose, it has decided to extend the initiative related to vehicle electrification to meet the ambitious goal of reaching Net Zero Carbon by 2040.


We are looking for a Senior Cloud and Embedded Software Architecture Manager, who will be part of the  Software & Analytics Lab and will be responsible for orchestrating software development at a high level from an architectural point of view. The selected candidate, as Software Architecture Manager, will be in charge of the complete Connectivity and Infotainment SYSTEM composed by AWS Cloud services, third parties integration, connectivity ECU mounted into the IVECO vehicles, mobile Apps, vehicle ECUs (Infotainment, body computer, ADAS systems). He/she will manage and guide the Dev team with implementation of the defined architecture into individual product instances while working within the constraints of each project.


  • Align architecture with the business strategy;
  • Provide strategic technical direction to Cloud and Embedded DEV team;
  • Establish and support the definition of non-Functional Requirements (NFR);
  • Fostering built-in quality for the E2E Solution;
  • Guide the Enablers Portfolio backlog and the relative roadmap;
  • Actively support design and steering of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Development) pipeline;
  • Lead the team to design the architecture, Cloud and embedded Software, of digital innovative solutions and improve customers’ digital experience in the domain of vehicle connected services;
  • Lead the implementation of scalable, lean, future proof digital services architecture foreseen availability of new technologies while guaranteeing manageable transitions from legacy solutions;
  • Define secured by design architecture;
  • Define and track key testing metrics to measure the effectiveness and progress of architecture design activities.


  • Degree in Engineering or Physics, Electronics, Computer science or equivalent work experience;
  • +7 years of experience working in digital product development and technical architectures design and evolution in automotive sector;
  • Aptitude to manage complex architecture and systems and software;
  • Knowledge of English language at native or advanced level;
  • Strong Knowledge of Agile process and framework (i.e. SAFe, Scrum, Kanban);
  • Good knowledge of Cloud and Embedded technologies/languages (e.g.: Linux, C/C++, java, Python, C#, SQL, EventHub, DB, Container registry, Application Insight, Angular, React/Jss, Sitecore, Sharepoint, Databricks, Qliksense, SQL, Android, IOS…);
  • Good knowledge about Cyber Security standards;
  • Knowledge about connectivity & telematics technologies;
  • Understanding of Safety Levels and standards (ISO 26262, 25119, 13849, 61508);
  • ALM tools & Version management (e.g. Git, Devops, JIRA);
  • General knowledge about vehicle usage & vehicle sub-systems;
  • Experience in vehicle applications including CAN communication, J1939 and UDS protocols.
