For Julius Meinl Coffee Group, one of the oldest coffee roasters in the world and an iconic Vienna coffee house brand, founded in 1862, we are seeking a:
TRADE MARKETING MANAGER - ITALY
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and executing local marketing strategies that align with our global goals and elevate Company’s Brand presence in the Italian market. Your work will be pivotal in positioning the Brand as a top 3 in value at the national level in the HoReCa channel by increasing brand awareness and relevance, thus attracting potential customers and retaining existing ones.
Principals Goals:
- Increase brand awareness (measured through Brand Health Tracker and AVE)
- Expand market share in the HoReCa channel
- Drive Gross Profit, EBITDA, and Net Sales Revenue (NSR) growth
- Effectively manage the marketing budget
- Ensure the brand and business growth in the Italian market to reach a key player position (TOP 3 in Value) at the national level
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Brand Marketing Plan, communication strategy and ATL/BTL activities, making sure to implement global strategy at local level
- Support the Sales Team in maintaining current customers and gaining new ones
- Analyze market trends, competition, and channels to implement efficient Trade Marketing Customer Activities and to assess the viability of new products and services
- Analyze data to evaluate marketing success and generate new ideas for brand enhancement
- Support the Global Sales & Marketing Team in implementing CRM in Italy.
- Represent the marketing team in cross-functional groups including product management, sales, and customer care.
- Collaborate and coordinate with BTL, PR and advertising agencies
- Manage and coordinate the local marketing team
- Work closely with the sales team and other departments to produce effective strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing & Communication, or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in Food & Beverage / FMCG Industry
- Fluency in English (C1/C2 level)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Expertise in project management.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively and strong analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel (40% business travel, mostly within Italy but also internationally)
