An internationally operating company specializing in the development, production, and supply of functional ingredients that improve quality, safety, and shelf-life across diverse food applications — with a strong focus on natural and clean-label solutions — is currently seeking a creative, communicative, and driven Technical Sales Manager (all genders) Europe.
Tasks of this Role:
- Focus on new customer acquisition and building long-term partnerships across Europe.
- Maintain and further develop existing client relationships.
- Conduct well-founded, consultative sales meetings with clients, either via video call or on-site.
- Deliver tailored technical solutions to meet customers’ processing, performance, and labeling requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term agreements with purchasing and R&D stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on support and consultation during product trials and process optimization.
- Translate the benefits of functional ingredients (e.g., texture, water binding, yield improvement, clean label) into commercial value for customers.
- Collaborate closely with application and R&D teams to customize solutions for various product formats (e.g., sausages, cooked ham, nuggets, plant-based meat alternatives).
- Stay up-to-date on EU food regulations and ensure accurate technical documentation.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and technological developments across regions.
- Share insights with global marketing and product development teams to influence the innovation pipeline.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and technical seminars.
- Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.
The Profile We Are Looking For:
- Business fluent in English.
- Extensive experience in sales and business development.
- Knowledge of functional ingredients in the food industry.
- Experience within a relevant client portfolio (e.g., meat and poultry processors or similar industries).
A Big Plus Would Be:
- Additional language skills (e.g., French, Italian, Spanish).
- Academic background in food or meat technology.
