Sales Manager, Europe (Central / Eastern Focus)

What will I be doing?
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead business development efforts for innovative products and solutions within Europe’s Broadcast markets.
As part of a growing team, you will be responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities, crafting and executing strategic business plans, nurturing customer relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive success across all sales initiatives.
A typical day might include the following:
- Identify, target, develop, and pursue new business opportunities for IP video products and services within the Broadcast Sports and News markets in Central / Eastern Europe.
- Work directly with key customers and industry partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand business, drive growth, and enhance market presence.
- Drive short-term revenue growth while establishing long-term, strategic relationships with customers and industry influencers.
- Lead product demos, support bid preparation, and ensure a seamless sales process.
- Work in coordination and collaboration with engineering, support, and marketing teams to provide product support and technical expertise.
Qualified candidates must have
- Strong track record of successful sales within the Broadcast Sports and News verticals, ideally with a focus on IP video products or related technologies.
- Minimum 5 years experience selling to call letter stations, production companies, and media teams.
- Sales Hunter mentality: A proactive, results-driven individual who excels at identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Demonstrated history of growing sales and developing new business within the industry.
- Knowledge and experience in market segments related to live video streaming, live event production, and cloud video platforms.
- Strong technical understanding with the ability to explain and demonstrate complex solutions and their key features to clients.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Independent, self-driven, creative, and solution-oriented "can-do!" attitude with the ability to take initiative and solve problems.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support business activities.
Important Information
- Location: Europe (the candidate can be located in any European country)
- Reporting to: General Manager, Live Production
- Employment Type: This is a contract position for 1 year, with the possibility to extend it
- Compensation: Commission eligible. Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including knowledge, relevant skills, competencies, experience, education, and position requirements.
