Our client is a global leader in the e-commerce industry, currently experiencing a period of rapid international expansion. To support this scaling phase, the organization is restructuring its IT department to tackle new, complex business challenges.
We are seeking a QA Team Leader that will be reporting to the IT Manager, leading multicultural QA specialists. The person will be the champion of software excellence, bridging the gap between technical strategy and high-level leadership.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing QA team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
  • End-to-End Testing Strategy: Design and execute comprehensive testing frameworks, encompassing manual and automated suites (Regression, Integration, UAT, and Performance/Load).
  • Process Optimization: Refine QA workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and alignment with industry-standard best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with Product, Dev, and Infrastructure teams to ensure "Quality at Speed" within the SDLC.
  • Automation & DevOps: Drive the automation roadmap using tools such as Cypress and Ghost within modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Incident & Defect Management: Take ownership of bug prioritization and tracking to ensure swift resolution of critical issues.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and report on Key Quality Indicators (KQIs) to provide visibility to executive stakeholders.


Candidate Profile

  • Proven Track Record: At least 5 years in Software Quality Assurance, with 2+ years specifically in a management or lead capacity.
  • Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with automation and testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress) and familiarity with CI/CD environments.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in E-commerce is highly advantageous.
  • Agile Mindset: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to drive quality improvements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
