INGÉNIEUR MÉCANIQUE (H/F)

For our client, a group specializing in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art fluid transfer systems for the offshore industry, we are looking for a

Mechanical Engineer (M/F)

to join the R&D department in the development of new products, from initial design through to marketing. Reporting to the R&D Director, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Feasibility studies and planning: carrying out feasibility studies and helping to draw up the preliminary project schedule.
• Computer-aided design (CAD): developing conceptual and detailed models using CAD software.
• Technical analysis and calculations: carrying out pre-dimensioning calculations in accordance with the standards in the field and writing the corresponding technical notes and calculation reports.
• Product lifecycle management and quality: coordinating the product lifecycle, complying with established quality procedures and reporting on project progress.
• Communication and technical support: writing technical presentations, leading meetings with suppliers, customers and internal staff, and providing technical support during the manufacturing and testing phases.

What we're looking for:

• You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• You have at least 5 years' experience in similar positions, ideally in heavy industry.
• You have a good command of CAD tools such as Solidworks.
• You are fluent in English and have good writing skills.
• Autonomy and rigor in the progress of your work.
