We are looking for a COUNTRY MANAGER - SPAIN & PORTUGAL for a renowned company operating in the intensive livestock farming field.

The company operates globally, providing a comprehensive range of products, services, and solutions. With a focus on enhancing hygiene in animal husbandry, they have grown from a small family business in 1966 to a leading supplier in multiple countries. What you will be doing:

  • Country Management: you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the company’s commercial objectives, growth, and market presence within Spain & Portugal.
  • Strategic Leadership & Team Management: Develop and implement a strategic business plan to achieve the company’s objectives in the livestock industry, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability, while leading and inspiring a diverse team of professionals to achieve operational excellence
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Sales and Marketing: Oversee the sales and marketing efforts to promote our livestock services and products, expand our customer base, and achieve revenue targets
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to ensure sustainable profitability
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors, to enhance the company’s reputation and market presence
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to the corporate office on the country’s performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture (Livestock), or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales leadership in a senior management role within the livestock industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of livestock production practices
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets, ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken)
