Business Development Manager (W/M/D) – Sweden
Our client is a leading global sustainability consultancy & ESG software provider focusing on sustainable investments & financing in the Real Assets sector.
We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager (W/M/D) to spearhead the strategic expansion and revenue growth in Sweden and the wider Nordics. This client-facing, commercial role carries the responsibility for new client acquisition and growing market share in the region.
What you will do:
Lead Generation & Business Development:
- Proactively identify, target, and qualify new business opportunities within the Sustainability, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Financial Services sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for new client acquisition in the region.
End-to-End Sales Management:
- Own the full sales lifecycle, from initial prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and ultimate deal closure.
- Successfully build and maintain a robust, high-quality sales pipeline.
Strategic Relationship Building & Market Alignment:
- Cultivate and nurture influential, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders within targeted client organizations.
- Work in close collaboration with the internal Marketing and Delivery teams to align regional strategies, execute targeted campaigns, and ensure seamless service transition for new clients.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a proactive, autonomous, and highly dynamic professional with a demonstrable track record of success in new business development.
Must-Haves:
- Sector Expertise: Proven experience in business development or sales with a deep focus on the Real Estate and/or Infrastructure sectors, coupled with an understanding of the Sustainability/ESG landscape.
- Drive for Results: A genuine "hunter" mentality with the capacity to rapidly generate new leads, build pipeline from scratch, and quickly move opportunities to close.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills required to articulate the value proposition of integrated advisory and software services.
- Language Skills: Fluent English and Swedish.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with the sales of consulting services, managed services, and/or software platforms (SaaS).
