Our client is an Italian company operating in the international logistics and transportation sector, handling goods by road, rail, sea, and air. Specifically, the company is the strategic choice for thousands of businesses worldwide, operating in various industries: from automotive and manufacturing to textiles and fashion, from chemicals to technology.

They are looking for a IT OPERATIONS SENIOR MANAGER to manage and optimize the operational model of the information technology division, ensuring the achievement of quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction objectives.


  • Define and implement the technology division's operating model, in line with the company's strategy and the needs of internal and external customers, with a high customer focus and strong accountability
  • Manage relationships with technology service providers, negotiating and monitoring contracts, SLAs and OLAs
  • Supervise the operational activities of the technology division, ensuring adherence to time, cost and quality standards
  • Define and monitor the performance indicators (KPIs) of the technology division, identifying and implementing continuous improvement actions
  • Manage communications and expectations of internal and external stakeholders, providing periodic reports on the status of activities and projects
  • Manage crisis situations, activating contingency plans and coordinating intervention teams
  • Ensure the delivery of the best employee experience
  • Distribute efficiently and effectively work among team members
  • Ensure high levels of employees’ performance, motivation, and engagement
  • Leading and developing the team through shadowing, coaching and continuous feedbacks
  • Being a role model of Company’s Purpose Promise and Values (PPV)
  • Comply with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Quality standard, Ethical code, and central procedures


  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar roles
  • Excellent knowledge of project management, IT service management and IT governance methodologies and tools
  • Strong competence in defining and monitoring KPIs, OLAs, SLAs, stakeholder management and vendor management
  • High problem solving, critical analysis and stress management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Good knowledge of the English language
