Role

As a D2C Payment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the effectiveness of payment strategy. You will integrate and optimize cutting-edge payment methods, minimize fraud and bad debt risks, and ensure precise cost control within the payment process. We are looking for a manager with a proactive attitude, driving change, leveraging data, initiating initiatives, and leading cross-functional projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payment Strategy: Define strategies tailored to each product and market
  • Integration & Optimization: Collaborate with IT/Technology teams to onboard new payment platforms
  • User Experience: Ensure seamless and successful customer payments
  • Negotiation & Expansion: Scout and negotiate with payment platforms to broaden the payment spectrum and reduce fees
  • Dunning & Collections: Manage dunning processes and credit collections

Requirements

  • Financial Background: Strong analytical skills are crucial
  • Payment Market Knowledge: Experience with major providers such as Adyen, Braintree, Paypal, Stripe, etc.
  • Technical Proficiency: Collaborate closely with tech and product teams
  • Business Acumen: Previous cross-functional roles are advantageous
  • Data Tools: Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Qlik, or other BI tools is a plus
